REGULATION AND TRAUMA RESOURCES
Most of the time people enter the portal of spiritual spaces looking to heal parts of their childhood to even personal trauma. I suggest seeking mental health care professionals first and foremost but in the case that is unavailable I compiled a list of my most valuable reputable resources for trauma.
My biggest vision is for everyone to have the tools and resources to navigate the human experience in confidence, safety and empowering validation.
I believe that trauma can be a manifestation of a broken environment, passed down from our ancestors, and also bigger than the survivor. Although these resources are meant to assist in self-regulatation they are not cures and they also do not dismantle systems in place sustaining trauma on certain individuals.
Thank you for reading! Enjoy the resources below. I appreciate your presence here, however big or small.

DR. PETER LEVINE - the founder of somatic psychotherapy
I have had numerous trauma psychologists and every single one has recommended the following book as a staple for understanding trauma.
Peter Levine founded the most successful therapy for Trauma, “Somatic Psychotherapy”. This is an approach that understands trauma and the body are not separate entities when healing. I truly believe everyone should own this book if they have experienced trauma.
DO YOU HAVE ANXIETY?
One of my favorite resources for self-regulation is this specific video made to target overactive areas of the brain from stress. I have listened to this almost every single day for five years. I truly feel it has made a difference. If you feel sensitive to noises, you may want to explore binaural beats for feeling “better”. Mood can be greatly impacted by vibrations including the auditory kind.
